  • Lynda Lee (Matchett) Nash, of Miramichi, wife of the late Edmund Nash, passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2013, at the Dr Georges L. Dumont Hospital, at the age of 65.

    Born in Red Bank, she was the daughter of the late Alma Matchett and was a homemaker.

    Lynda is susrvived by five sisters Lynn L'Huillier (Daniel), Doris Russell (Kevin), Gail Connors (Bev), Darlene Poirier (Ralph Parsons), and Mae Harrigan (Joe Gallant) all of Miramichi; two brothers Sonny (Linda Blackmore) of Saint John and Blair (Cheryl Blackmore) of Miramichi; and several nieces and nephews.

    Besides her husband, and mother, she was predeceased by her aunt Juanita Travis, her uncle Bill Matchett, and her maternal grandparents Herman and Lottie Matchett.

    The family will receive relatives and friends from Northumberland Funeral Home, on Thursday, March 21, 2013, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held from Northumberland Funeral Home Chapel, on Friday, March 22, 2013, at 11 am with Rev. Willard Watling officiating. Interment will take place in Saint Bridget's Roman Catholic Cemetery, in Renous, at a later date.

    As expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation, or to a memorial of one's choice.
