Madeleine St Jean-Ronan, of Hardwicke, passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2011, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 64.

Born in Edmunston, she was the daughter of the late Laurence and Reign (Martin) St Jean.

Madeleine is survived by her husband Pat Ronan; one daughter Michelle Couturier (Dr Luc Arsenault) of Miramichi; three sisters Lorraine (Bob Thibodeau) of Soldier Pond, Maine, Theresa (Bob Madore) of Deerfield, Maine, and Evelyn of Atlanta, Georgia; one brother Don St Jean (Barbara) of Orange, California; two grandchildren Alexis and Maggie; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive relatives and friends from Northumberland Funeral Home, on Wednesday, December 14, 2011, from 7 to 9 pm. At the family's request, there will be no funeral service.

In Madeleine's memory, donations may be amde to the Canadian Cancer Society, or to a memorial of one's choice,
