With sorrowful hearts we announce the death of our mother Margaret (Marg) Bowes which occurred at the Mount St. Joseph Nursing Home on Friday March 2, 2007at the age of 90.
Born in Newcastle she was the daughter of the late George and Mary (Regan) Richardson. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. After raising her children, she was employed with Eaton’s Catalogue Office and later at Whites Pharmacy in Miramichi until her retirement. She attended St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church in Miramichi and was a past president of the Columbian Ladies Auxiliary and was a member of the C. W. L.
She is survived by three daughters Mary Bowes Butler (Charles), Elva (Bob Hare) and Peggy (Donald Phillips) all of Miramichi; three sons George (Elsie) of Miramichi, Edward (Hilary) of Fredericton and Reginald of Miramichi; 17 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one sister Peggy O`Kane and three brothers Joseph, George (Bunny) and Albert.
