Margot Irmgard Peter of Miramichi, widow of the late Otto Peter, formerly of Edward street, passed away at Bridgeview Hall, on July 18, 2021, at the age of 96.

Born in Germany, she and Otto came to Miramichi where he worked for Heath Steel Mines. Margot was a devoted member of Saint Mary’s Roman Catholic Church.

She will be greatly missed by her close friend Ruth Chapman.

At her request there will be no visitation. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Saint Mary's Roman Catholic Church on Thursday July 22nd, 2021, at 10am.

As expression of sympathy, donations may be made to Saint Mary’s memorial fund or to a memorial of one’s choice.
