Mrs. Marion (McLeod) Murray, of Tabusintac, passed away on Saturday, June 2, 2012, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 100.

Born on October 24, 1911, she was the daughter of the late Murdock and Ellen McLeod. She was a homemaker and a member of St Andrew's United Church, in Tabusintac.

She will be sadly missed by her eight children Rubena (Stanley Price) of Tabusintac, John (Opal) of Tabusintac, Edna (Robert Price) of Miramichi, Lee (Darlene) of Tabusintac, Ruth (John Camirand) of Victoria Harbour, ON, Ralph (Lorraine) of Tabusintac, Neil (Barbara) of Tabusintac, and Janice (Blake Russell) of Tabusintac; one half sister Alice Giles; two daughter-in-laws Theresa O'Brien of Toronto, ON, and Kathleen (Kelly) Murray of Tabusintac; 43 grandchildren; 64 great grandchildren; and 19 great great grandchildren.

Besides her parents, Marion was predeceased by her husband Lawrence Murray; two sons Alden and Willard (Bill); two daughters Lorraine MacKnight and Eunice Egar; two son-in-laws Keith MacKnight and David Egar; one daughter-in-law Eleanor Murray; and five grandchildren Russell Price, Toby Murray, Rodney Murray, Brian Murray, and Craig Murray.

The family will receive relatives and friends from St Andrew's United Church, in Tabusintac, on Monday, June 4, 2012, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 5, 2012, at 2 pm, from St Andrew's United Church. Interment will take place in the church cemetery.
