Marjorie Elizabeth (LeBail) Matchett passed away peacefully on Monday, November 29, 2021, at Losier Hall, at the age of 82.
Born in Nelson, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Dorothy (McMahon) LeBail. She worked in housekeeping at the Miramichi Regional Hospital prior to her retirement and attended The Point Church.
She will be greatly missed by her three daughters Mary Evelyn Kidd (Glenn) of Wasaga Beach, ON, Anna Marie Gallant (Donnie) of Cole Branch, and Connie St-Coeur of Miramichi; her son Richard St-Coeur (Patsy) of Warwick Settlement; her brother Lloyd LeBail of Bridgeview Hall; son-in-law Ambrose MacDonald; 13 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Marjorie had countless valuable friendships including her lifelong friend Susan, Betty, Faye, Angel, and many more too numerous to mention.
Besides he parents, she was predeceased by her husband William Allan Matchett; infant son Billy; and daughter Dorothy Anne MacDonald.
The family would like to acknowledge and thank the staff of O'Reilly Court, at Losier Hall, for their compassion, dedication, friendship, and excellent care provided to their mom.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Interment will take place in Boom Road Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations made to O'Reilly Court or to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
