Ms. Marsha Savage, of the Special Care Home in Neguac, passed away on Wednesday, November 16, 2011, at the Oromocto Public Hospital, at the age of 61.

Born in Bass River, NB, she was the daughter of the late J. Allie and Beulah (Wilson) Savage, and the stepdaughter of Blanche (Wilson) Savage. She was raised in Richibucto and Newcastle, and lived in Neguac in later years.

She will be sadly missed by her sister Jean Burtt (Kirby) of Fredericton, NB; her brother Mac Savage (Pat) of Vancouver, BC; her two nieces Kelly Savage of Virginia, USA, and Christie Savage of Montreal, QB; her two nephews David Burtt of Halifax, NS, and Jonathan Burtt of Fredericton, NB; as well as her special Mom and Dad Anita and Alvery Savoie of Neguac, NB.

A memorial mass will be celebrated on Friday, November 18, 2011, at 11 am, from Sts John and Paul Roman Catholic Church, in New Maryland, NB, with Father Ken Weir officiating. Interment will take place in St Mary’s Roman Catholic Church Cemetery, in Miramichi, NB, at a later date.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Down Syndrome Society, or to a memorial of one’s choice.
