Mary Alexina (Creamer) Cortes, of Derby Junction, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 17, 2021, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 73.

Mary was the daughter of the late John and Delcia Creamer and worked as a restaurant working until her retirement.

She will be greatly missed by her husband Sterling Cortes of Derby Junction; stepson Joshua (Katrina) of St Andrew's; and two grandchildren Tyson and Jolene.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother Albert Creamer.

At her request, there will be no visitation. A graveside service will take place on Thursday, September 23, 2021, at 3 pm, at Our Lady of Good Council Roman Catholic Cemetery in Millerton, with Father Leon Creamer officiating.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
