It is with heavy sadness that we announce the death of Mary Haddad, of Eel Ground, who passed away at the Moncton City Hospital on August 12th at the age of 66.

Born in Sudbury, Ontario on October 25th, 1954. She was the daughter of the late Joseph Haddad and the late Susan Augustine. She worked as an early childhood educator for 40 years and was a member of St. Joachim’s Church.

She will be greatly missed by two daughters; Marsha Francis and Kim Francis (Craig Newman) both of Eel Ground, two sons; Jessie Francis (Terri Lynn) of Moncton and Blake Francis of Eel Ground; four sisters; Rita Labelle of Red Bank, Betty Ann Haddad (Marcel Audette) of Red Bank, Noella Ward (Jerry) of Calgary, and Cathy Itwaru (Wally) of Ontario, two Brothers; Thomas Haddad of Red Bank and Joseph Haddad (Brenda) of Sudbury and five grandchildren.
Besides her parents she was predeceased by her sister Mary Margaret Peters and her brothers Peter, David and Antony.

The family will receive relatives and friends from Northumberland Funeral home on Monday August 16th from 2-4pm and 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial, will be celebrated at St. Joachim’s Roman Catholic Church in Eel Ground on Tuesday August 17th at a 1 pm.

As expression of sympathy, donations may be made to a memorial of one’s choice.
