Mary Gloria Anne Simon, of Eel Ground, passed away at her residence, on Monday November 7th, 2022, at the age of 48.

Born in Newcastle, Gloria was the daughter to her parents, the late Noel Simon and Suzanne Jerome. She worked as a homemaker and was a member of Saint Joachim’s Catholic Church.

She will be greatly missed by her son Kolby Simonson of Eel Ground, her sister Diane Jerome (Art St. Cyr), of Eel Ground, three brothers; Roderick Simon (Rita) of Miramichi, Carl Simon (Arlene) and Harvey Simon both of Eel Ground, Brothers in law; Joe Tony Ward of Red Bank and Joe Crossman of Eel Ground, three grandchildren; Wilson Simonson, Grayson Simonson and Kingsligh Love, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides parents, she was also predeceased by two sisters; Joan Ward and Anne Crossman and half brother Vincent Cloud.

The family will receive relatives and friends from Northumberland Funeral Home on Thursday November 10th from 7-9 pm and Friday November 11th from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial, will be held at St Joachim's Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, November 12th, 2022, at 11 am with Father Peter Aloo officiating.
