Mary Louise "Lou" Warren

Mary Louise "Lou" Warren, of Blackville, passed away on Monday, March 10, 2025, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 69.

Born in Blackville, she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Esther (Gillespie) Warren. She worked as a personal support worker at Mount Saint Joseph Nursing Home, and as a cook in various restaurants. She also cooked for many events, and had a passion for cooking for others.

She will be greatly missed by her spouse Leslie Hallihan of Blackville; daughter Lisa Storey (Stephen) of Blackville; son Mason Warren (Lynette) of Blackville; sisters Lynn Colford (Late Donald) of Howard, Darlene Sullivan (Gene) of Blackville, Pauline Jardine(Late John) of Barnettville, Brenda Warren (Clell) of Gray Rapids, and Maureen Maillet of Blackville; three brothers Wayne Warren (Loretta) of Durham Bridge, Jed Warren (Veronica) of Miramichi, and Kevin Warren of Blackville; four grandchildren Hailey Storey (Billy), Heidi Storey (David), Janson Warren, and Jerryka Warren; four great grandchildren Brenden Storey, Hunter Storey, Alannah Norrad, and Lauren Norrad; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive relatives and friends from St Raphael's Roman Catholic Church, in Blackville, on Friday, March 14, 2025, from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at 11 am, from St Raphael's Roman Catholic Church, in Blackville, with Father Paul Doucet officiating.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, or to a memorial of one's choice.
