Mona Mary (Rousselle) Tozer, of Shannex Parkland, in Fredericton, formerly of Miramichi, passed away on Monday, January 30, 2017, at the age of 88.
Born in Chatham Head, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Movina Rousselle. She was a retired cook from the Miramichi Regional Hospital, and a member of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church, as well as the Newcastle Seniors Friendship Club.
She will be greatly missed by her three daughters Darlene of Edmonton, AB, Patsy of Fredericton, NB, and Gail (Paul Loggie) of Miramichi, NB; son Lloyd (Paula) of Edmonton, AB; five grandchildren Mel, Tiffany, Patrick, Kenzie, and Kyle; three great grandchildren Olivia, Ma, and Owen; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her infant son Jack; three stepsisters Dora Savark, Kay Greenwood, and Mae Fernand; and two brothers Bob Sickles and Carl Sickles.
At the family's request, there will be no visitation. The funeral service will be held on Friday, February 3, 2017, at 11 am, from Northumberland Funeral Home Chapel, with Father Paul LeBlanc officiating. Interment will take place in Maple Glen United Cemetery at a later date.
