Mr. Albert John Coughlan, of Grey Rapids, passed away on Saturday, November 7, 2009, at the age of 78.

Born in Grey Rapids, he was the son of the late Charles and Gertrude (Sullivan) Coughlan.

He will be sadly missed by his wife Mona (Underhill) of Grey Rapids; daughter Willa (Kenneth Stoddard) of Nanaimo, BC; three sons Leroy (Anna) of Brampton, Ont., Darrell (Della) of Fredericton, NB, and Wendell (Leanna) of Ajax, Ont.; four sisters Ruth Vickers of Grey Rapids, Melva Hambrook (Sterling) of Renous, Hulda Astle (Merton) of Grey Rapids, and Joan Coughlan of Moncton; two brothers Winston (Kathleen) of Grey Rapids, and Beaton (Linda) of Renous; eight grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and several nieces and newphews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by one brother Murray Coughlan of Grey Rapids, and one brother-in-law Norm Vickers of Grey Rapids.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Miramichi Christian Fellowship Center, in Blackville, on Monday, November 9, 2009, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 10, 2009, at 2 pm, from Miramichi Christian Fellowship Center, in Blackville, with Reverend John Stewart officiating. Burial will take place following the funeral in Grey Rapids Pentecostal Cemetery.
