Daniel is survived by Vicki Sickles of Miramichi; his mother, Delia (Baisley) Matchett, of Miramichi; six daughters Tara (Jason) of Vancouver, Danielle (Matthew) of Miramichi, Stacey Lynn of Miramichi, Kaylee of Miramichi, Trish Chambers (Tim Jardine) of Miramichi, and Christine Sherrard of Miramichi; one son Jason Chambers (Jennifer) of Miramichi; three sisters Cindy of Alberta, Debbie of Alberta, and Hildie of Ontario; two brothers Kirk of Miramichi, and Tim of Alberta; one daughter-in-law Mary-Anne; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Besides his father, Perley Matchett, he is also predeceased by one brother Laurie, and one sister Kyla.
