Mr. Edmund Lanteigne passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Friday May 18, 2007 at the age of 69.

Born in Nelson he was the son of the late Eli and Elizabeth (Comeau) Lanteigne. He worked for REPAP in Miramichi until his retirement. He was a member of C. E. P. local 689 and the Golden Age Club of Chatham Head. He attended The Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Roman Catholic Church in Chatham Head.

Besides his wife June (Blackmore), he is survived by one daughter April of Miramichi; three sons Todd (Diane) of B.C., David of Miramichi and Karl of B.C.; five sisters Leona Henry (Fred), Geraldine McIntyre, Libby Fallon, Doreen Lanteigne all of Miramichi and Stella MacDonald (Kenneth) of Toronto Ontario; three brothers Norman (Alice) of Toronto Ontario, Bobby (Charline) of Miramichi and Donald (Maureen) of Miramichi; two grandsons Bradley and Destin and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister Rita and brother Jerry.
