Mr. Elmer S. Munn, of Blackville passed away at the Chaleur Regional Hospital on Tuesday April 8, 2008 at the age of 74.
Born in Blackville he was the son of the late Gordon and Beatrice (Donahue) Munn. He served in the Korean War from 1953 to 1956. He was a laborer and attended St. Raphael’s Roman Catholic Church in Blackville.
Besides his wife Juliette (Dumont), he is survived by one daughter Darlene of Fort Saskatchewan Alberta; four sons David (Corrie), Byron, Perry (Tammy) and Shawn all of Blackville; four sisters Loretta Curtis (Winston) of Blackville, Madine Keenan (Bobby) of Blackville, Linda-Faye Bullock (Don) of Miramichi and Clora Hachey (Mike) of Bathurst; three brothers Blake (Mary Lou), Leon (Laurie) and Gordon Jr. (Joanne) all of Blackville; one sister-in-law Audrey Munn of Blackville; seven grandchildren Jonah, Jordon, Matthew, Ashley, Marc, Jessica and Coewan; one great grandchild Christopher and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by one daughter Susan Colford in 1996 and two brothers Lawrence and Byron.
