Mr. Eugene Myles, of Miramichi, husband of the late Donna Myles, passed away at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on Friday at the age of 70.

Born in Grand Bank Newfoundland he was the son of the late Percival and Rosella (Matthews) Myles. He was an air traffic controller for the Canadian Armed Forces until his retirement and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #10. Eugene attended St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church in Miramichi and was very active in the parish.

He is survived by one daughter Theresa of Whitby Ontario; two sons Tony of Calgary and Stephen (Shauna) of Miramichi; one brother Claude (Doreen) of Newfoundland; two grandchildren Alex and Mark Myles; several nieces and nephews. Besides his wife Donna (Carew) Myles he was predeceased by sisters Ruby and Maude and one brother Fred.
