Mr. Gerald James Stymiest, of Tabusintac, passed away on Monday, November 9, 2009, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 62.
He was the son of the late James and Ruth (Munroe) Stymiest, and worked as a linesman for NB Power for 20 years.
Gerald is survived by his wife Antonia (Tonie) of Tabusintac; daughter Jennifer of Moncton; son Jason (Vicki) of Fredericton; sister Jean (Sydney Adams) of Ontario; and two grandsons Alex and Austin Stymiest.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers Herman and Byran Stymiest.
The family will receive relatives and friends at Victory Worship Center, in Tabusintac, on Wednesday,November 11, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 12, 2009, at 2 pm from Victory Worship Center, in Tabusintac, with Pastor Jody Holmes officiating. Interment will follow in the Stymiest Cemetery, in Tabusintac.
As expression of sympathy, donations to the Cancer Society, or to the Victory Worship Center, would be appreciated by the family.
