  • Mr. Theodore Walls, of Blackville, passed away on Tuesday, March 17, 2009, at the Miramichi Hospital, at the age of 85.

    Born in Blackville, he was the son of the late William and Edith Walls. He was a World War II Veteran and he worked at the Ammunition Depot in Renous until his retirement. He attended St Andrew's United Church, in Blackville.

    He was a member of many societies including Legion Branch #49 in Blackville, The Senior's Friendship Club, Blackville Historical Society, Past Executive of Credit Union,a member of the Village Council, an Elder of St Andrew's, and a member of the Square Riggers Square Dancing Club.

    Ted is survived by his wife Ellen; one daughter Edith (Hal) Coughlan of Blackville; two sons Bruce (Debbie)of Blackville, and Leonard of Vancouver; three sister-in-laws Viola Walls, Dorothy Walls, and Anna Mae Walls;one brother-in-law Rev. Willard Lyons; three grandchildren Jason Walls, Jordan Coughlan and Kennedy Couglan; as well as several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by four sisters Dorothy Morehouse, Elsie Morehouse, Louise Chatterton, and Evelyn Lyons; five brothers Royce Walls, Benjamin Walls, Rev. Isaac Walls, Stewart Walls, and George Walls.
