Mr. Wayne Stewart, common law husband of Gail Russell, of Miramichi, passed away at his residence, on Saturday, April 25, 2009, at the age of 59.

Wayne was the son of the late Merrill and Mae (Connell) Stewart. He worked as a labourer at North Shore Construction; and attended St Paul's Anglican Church, in Bushville.

Besides his mother Mae, he is survived by his common law wife Gail Russell, one stepson Shane Farrah (Jody-Lee) of Newfoundland, five sisters Myrna McMahon (David), Joan Trevors (Winston), Donna Doyle (Kerin), Patsy McFarlane (Mattie) and Sharon McEacheron (Robert), all of Miramichi, two brothers Lloyd (Helen), and Bruce (Shirley), both of Miramichi, and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his father Merrill Stewart.
