Born in Millerton she was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Close) Doran. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was a homemaker and attended St. Thomas Roman Catholic Church in Red Bank. She loved to travel and in the winter and her family considers her one of the snow birds.
Bernetta is survived by three daughters, Jenny Tozer (Herb) of Saint John, Mary Ross of Saint John, Florence McGraw (John) of Chatham Head Miramichi; two sons Mervin Jr. (Marie) of Saint John, William (Billy) of Miramichi; 13 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, one great great grandson and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband Mervin, she was predeceased by one daughter Theresa; two sisters, Veronica Doran, Genevieve Hachey; four brothers Carl, Joseph, Isaac, Charlie and one grandson John Ross.
