Mrs. Bernice Duffy, of White Rapids, passed away at her residence on Sunday July 8, 2007 at the age of 85.

Born in White Rapids she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Mary (Gillis) Tucker. She was a homemaker and attended St Bridget’s Roman Catholic Church in Renous.

She is survived by five daughters Carmel Anderson (Ernie) of Fredericton, Sharon Hallihan (Jim) of Renous, Norma Burns (Freddy) of Bartholomew, Daphne Coole (David) of Cape Breton, and Nancy Jardine (Paul) of Barnettville; six sons Shirley (Kathryn), Wayne (Connie), Lindon (Shirley) all of White Rapids, Raymond (Theresa) of Renous, Patrick and Steven at home; three sisters Viola Dunn (Burton) of White Rapids, Robina Underhill of Newcastle and Delores Sturgeon (Norm) of White Rapids; two brothers Joseph of Rapids and Ellery (Diane) of Fredericton; 26 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. Besides her husband Vincent, she was predeceased by two sons Murray and Ronnie; four brothers Edison, Anthony, Jerome and Roy; one granddaughter Barbara Duffy and one son-in-law Lloyd Sturgeon.
