Mrs. Dorothy Grace Black
1930 – 2008

Mrs. Dorothy Black, of Miramichi passed away on Thursday July 17, 2008 at the Saint John Regional Hospital at the age of 78.

Born in Newcastle she was the daughter of the late William and Drusilla (Grey) Daigle. She was a homemaker and attended St. James and St. John United Church in Miramichi.

Besides her husband Audrey she is survived by three daughters Sharon Doiron (Everette), Grace Murray (Harvey), Brenda McKeown (Daniel) all of Miramichi; one son Glenn of Miramichi; eleven grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Besides her parents she was predeceased by two infant sons Leonard and Paul; three brothers Percy, Alvin and Stephen.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Northumberland Funeral Home on Saturday from 7 to 9 and on Sunday from 1 until the time of the funeral which will be held at 3 from Northumberland Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Fraser officiating. Burial will be in the Miramichi cemetery. The funeral arrangements are in the care of Northumberland Funeral Home, 102 Pleasant St. telephone 622-7741.
