Helena Myrtle Muck, widow of Arnold (Bunny) Muck passed away peacefully on November 30th, 2009 following a very brief illness.

Helena was a devoted mother, grandmother and mother-in-law. Her life was her family, who will miss her dearly. Helena was born in Blackville, NB on January 31st, 1929. She was the youngest daughter of Alfred and Theresa (Vickers) Sturgeon.

For the past three years, Helena lived in Fredericton, most recently at Ste. Anne's Court where she thoroughly enjoyed meeting so many new friends. Helena cherished her grandchildren, and although they were not always geographically close by, they were always close in her heart. She loved all the phone calls and visits to "Nannie."

Helena is survived by her daughter Nancy Waite (Wilfred) of Fredericton and son Hal (Debbie) of Blackville, granddaughters Erica Muck, Jessica and Melissa Waite and grandson Bonard Muck, sisters Minnie Underhill (Alvin), Halifax, Bernetta Grandy (Tom) of Vancouver, and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents and husband Helena was predeceased by sisters Eva and Hannah and brother Elwood.

Helena will be resting at St. Andrew's United Church Hall, Blackville, on Wednesday, December 2nd, from 2:00 to 4:00pm and 7:00 to 9:00pm. Funeral service will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday, December 3rd at St. Andrew's United Church, Blackville with Rev. Olive Ann Archibald officiating. Interment will be immediately following the service.
