Mrs. Josephine Mildred (Sturgeon) Underhill passed away at her residence on Thursday July 12, 2007 at the age of 89.

Born in White Rapids, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Elizabeth (Duffy) Sturgeon. She was a home maker and attended St. Raphael’s Roman Catholic Church in Blackville. Josephine was a member of the C. W. L.

She is survived by four daughters Mavis Underhill of Barnettville, Carolyn Coughlan (Cameron) of Blackville, Corliss McKay (Douglas) of Nashwaak Bridge and Susan McEvoy (Weldon) of Blackville; three sons James(Beulah) of Barnettville, Trueman (Darlene) of Barnettville and Brent (Darlene) of Blackville; one brother Arnold Sturgeon of White Rapids; 12 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren, one step granddaughter and two step great granddaughters and many nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband James, she was predeceased by one son Howard; three infant daughters Mary, Marlene and Ann; one adult daughter Villa Duffy; one infant grandson J. Trueman Cameron Coughlan; one great grandson Chandler John Cameron Coughlan and one sister Viola Nash.
