Mrs. Marguerite Pitre passed away on Monday, March 16, 2009, at the Miramichi Hospital, at the age of 53.

Born in Québec City, she was the daughter of the late Sylvio Forbes and Léda (Dufour) Forbes. She worked as a secretary and receptionist and she also volunteered with the MirAcadie radion station. She attended La Paroisse de L'Ascension at École Carrefour Beausoleil.

Marguerite is survived by her husband Raymond, of Miramichi; her mother Léda Forbes; three brothers Abel (Lisette), Mario (Susanne), and Denis all of Québec; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her father Sylvio, she is predeceased by one brother Jean Forbes.
