  • Mrs. Rosella Mary Craig, wife of the late Frederick Craig, of Miramichi, passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2009, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 81.

    Born in Gray Rapids, she was the daughter of the late Albert Hiram and Mary Kercilla (Howe) MacDonald. She was a homemaker and a "Red Hat" Member.

    Rosella is survived by her daughter Katherine Craig (James Mullin) of Vancouver, BC; four sons Bernard (Valerie), Frederick (Yvette), and Stephen (Maureen) all of Vancouver, BC, and Donald of Miramichi; five sisters Anna Arsenault (Lucien) of Red Bank, Erma Ferguson (Robert) of Quispamsis, Dorothy Campbell of Fredericton, Irene Bardock of Vancouver, BC, and Willa Cramm of Saint John; 13 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

    Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Frederick, her twin sister Inez, and her sister Elizabeth.

    The family will receive relatives and friends at Northumberland Funeral Home, on Tuesday, October 13, 2009, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 14, 2009, at 2 pm, from Northumberland Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Theodore Craig officiating. Burial will take place following the funeral service at St Bridget`s R.C. Cemetery, in Renous.

    As expression of sympathy, donations to the NB Lung Association would be appreciated by the family.
