Mrs. Winona Gallan, wife of Keith Gallan, of Gray Rapids, passed away on Saturday, May 9, 2009, at the Miramichi Hospital, at the age of 48.

She was the daughter of the late Lorne and Elva (Coughlan) Kelly. She worked as a tree planter and attended Gray Rapids United Pentecostal Church.

Besides her husband Keith, Winona is survived by three daughters Cheryl Cosgrove (Michael) of White Rapids, Jill Gallan (Stephen Gillespie), and Lacey Gallan (Devin Underhill), both of Blackville; five sisters Louise Robinson (Gary) of Hampton, June Sturgeon (Arden) of White Rapids, Sharon Gallan of Gray Rapids, Rhonda Jardine (Lorne Amos) of Gray Rapids, and Kimberly Curtis (Boyd) of Gray Rapids; six brothers Ivan (Joan) of Gray Rapids, Shirley (Linda Price) of Doaktown, Darryl (Betty) of Fredericton, Alvin (Sheila) of Gray Rapids, Allison (Lilah) of Gray Rapids, and Wayne (Laurina) of Blackville; one aunt Judy (Bev Jardine) of Quarryville; five grandchildren Burke Gallan, Robyn Stewart, Richard Cosgrove, Summer Cosgrove, and Brandee Gillespie; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents and one sister Lois Kelly.
