Ms. Jackie Fallon, of Miramichi, passed away on October 18, 2009, at her residence, at the age of 64.

She was the daughter of the late William and Pheobe (McCafferty) Fallon and worked as an administrative secretary for the City of Newcastle. She was very involved with the French Fort Cove, the Eco Center, and the Miramichi Folksong Festival.

Jackie is survived by one sister Jewel (Keith Colford) of Airdrie, Alberta; one brother Jere (Margaret) of Mississauga, Ontario; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by two brothers Charles, of Miramichi, and William (Bunny) of Oakville, Ontario; and one infant sister Elizabeth (Betty).

The family will receive relatives and friends at Northumberland Funeral Home, on Wednesday, October 21, 2009, from 7 to 9. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 22, 2009, at 2 pm, from Northumberland Funeral Home Chapel, with Father Tom Fowler officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Miramichi Food Bank, Miramichi Folksong Festival, or to a memorial of one's choice.
