Ms. Stephanie Matchett, of Miramichi, passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2009, at her residence, the age of 21.

Stephanie was the daughter of Debbie Matchett and the late Stephen (Sappy) Matchett. She graduated from the Learning Center in 2007.

Stephanie will be sadly missed by her daughter Savana and Mike Barnaby; her mother Debbie Matchett, of Miramichi; her sister Terri-Lynn Matchett of Miramichi; her brother Matthew, and half brothers Stephen and Jake Matchett, all of Miramichi; her uncle Timmy Matchett, Patty, and Lindsey Jane of Eel Ground; her aunt Lisa Matchett and her son Michael; maternal grandmother Judy Matchett and paternal grandmother Mary Matchett; her niece Asia Rae; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Besides her father, she was predeceased by her maternal grandfather Vincent Matchett, and her paternal grandfather Eldon Matchett.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Northumberland Funeral Home, on Wednesday, October 26, 2009, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, October 29, 2009, at 12 pm, from St Mary's R.C. Church, with Father Tom Fowler officiating and assisted by Pastor Fred Williams.
