Mr. Murray Crawford, of Barnettville, passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2011, at the Mirmichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 70.
He was the son of the late Ernest and Dorothy (Warren) Crawford and workded as a woodsmen, mechanic, and labourer.
He is survived by his wife Theresa (Maillet) Crawford of Barnettville; three daughters Carla Crawford (Troy Donahue) of Chatham, Shawna MacKenzie (Peter MacKenzie) of Strathadam, and Erran Crawford (Jamie Sturgeon) of Barnettville; two sons Kevin (Darla Sturgeon) of Blackville, and Shannon (Carole Gillespie) of Renous; two sisters Judy Crawford of Craigville, and Marlene Scribner (David) of Hampton, NB; one half-brother Byron Warren (Paulette) of Chelmsford; 10 grandchidren Kaitlyn, Brooke, Kiefer, Luke, Logan, Josh, Sean, Matthew, Riley, and Kiersten; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by an infant brother and sister.
The family will receive relatives and friends from Hillside Church, in Blackville, on Wednesday, November 9, 2011, from 12 pm until the time of the funeral. The funeral service will be held from Hillside Church, at 2 pm, with Rev. Wilbur Matthews officiating.
As expression of sympathy, donations may be made to a memorial of one's choice.
