Newcastle Fire Department. In her early years, she was a coach for
Newcastle Minor Hockey and even tried her hand at stock car driving in
the Powderpuff Derby She loved to bake and cook and provided care packages
to many. She volunteered much of her time at the bingos in Eel Ground and
the Newcastle Fire Hall. She also held various offices with N.B.T.F and
    M.A.R.T.A

Noreen will be sadly missed by her husband Alfred Drillen; four daughters
Mary Alice Ahern of Derby Junction, Nora (Greg Matheson), Joan (Brian
Donovan), and Nancy (D.J. Mason), all of Miramichi; two sons Stanley
(Shelley) of Saint Charles, NB, and Gordon (Paula) of Miramichi; one sister
Kathleen Godin of Miramichi; eight grandchildren Ryan, Alison, Megan,
Katlyn, Kirstie, Jordan, Nadine, and Elizabeth; four great grandchildren
Kalli, Jack, Susie, and Evan; as well as several nieces, nephews and best
    friend, Shirley Burns.
