Patrick "Pat" Arthur Jimmo, of Black River Bridge, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 22, 2022, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 78.
Born in Chatham, he was the son of the late Arthur and Clementine (Robichaud) Jimmo. He worked as a fisherman, truck driver, and mill worker prior to his retirement, and was a member of St Stephen's United Church, in Black River Bridge.
He will be greatly missed by his wife June (Brennan) Jimmo of Black River Bridge; two daughters Kimberly Jimmo (Duane Geikie) of Miramichi and Jenna Jimmo (Jacques Thibodeau) of Black River; three sisters Bernetta (Raymond Cripps) of Miramichi, Ann (Paul Despres) of Eel River, and Mary (Charles McIntyre) of Eel River; three brothers Roy (Colleen) of Weldfield, Anthony (Karen) of New Glasgow, NS, and Louis of Escuminac; brother-in-law Donald Doiron of PEI; two granddaughters Ellie and Rhéa Thibodeau; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sister Corinne; and sister-in-law Sonia Jimmo.
A private funeral service will take place at St Stephen's United Church, in Black River Bridge, with Rev. David Allan officiating. Interment will take place in the church cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society.
