  • Paul Henry Wallace, husband of Cathy (Burns) Wallace, of Fredericton, formerly of Nelson-Miramichi, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 16, 2016, at Mount Sinai Hospital, at the age of 40.

    Born in Chatham, on December 24, 1975, Paul was the son of the late Patrick Wallace and Carolyn (Woods) Bremner (Leon).

    Besides his wife and mother, Paul is survived by his wonderful son Jonathan; sister Angela Ball of Calgary; and mother and father-in-law Paula and Paul Burns of Miramichi. He also leaves behind his two brothers-in-law Larry Burns (Crystal) and Michael Burns (Jenna); his loving nieces and nephews Owen, Cian, Parker, Kennedy, Walker and Flynn; along with several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

    Visitation will take place at Northumberland Funeral Home, on Tuesday, December 20, 2016, from 7 pm to 9 pm and on Wednesday, December 21, 2016, from 2 pm to 4 pm and 7 pm to 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, December 22, 2016, at 11 am, from St Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, with Father Dan Melanson officiating.

    In Paul's memory, the family request any donations may be made to the Sarcoma Cancer Foundation of Canada, or to a charity of one's choice.
