Paul Baldwin Nowlan

It is with heavy hearts and the deepest sadness that we announce the passing of our dear Paul Baldwin Nowlan, who joined The Lord on March 14, 2025, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital. Paul was 73 years old and was surrounded by so many loved ones during his last few days.

Paul was predeceased by his parents, Percy and Villa Nowlan, as well as his two brothers, Robert and Stephen.

Paul leaves behind by his wife of 53 years, Wanda (nee Pond), his three children Jeffrey (Laura), Stephanie (David), Heather (Matthew), his 10 grandchildren, Emily, Joshua (Gracen), Liam, Ciara, Connor, Declan, Madison, Caitlin, Emma and Siobhan and 1 great-grandchild, Delilah.

Paul worked in the automotive service industry for over 4 decades and eventually retired from Roussel Volkswagen in Miramichi, NB. He was an avid sports shooter, winning many competitions throughout the Maritimes and Ontario. Paul loved to travel with his beloved Wanda and often with great friends from the Miramichi Shooting Sports Club. Paul was very well-known and widely liked throughout the community. No matter where he went, he always ran into someone who knew him.

The family would like to acknowledge and thank the wonderful doctors and staff at the Miramichi Regional Hospital for their amazing care and support.

In honouring Paul’s wishes, there will no visitation. A Celebration of Life will take place at The Point Church in Miramichi, NB, on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, beginning at 11:00 am.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Blood Services or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
