Paula Agnes Dalton-Stewart, of Kelly's Special Care Home, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, March 2, 2019, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 70.

Born in Newcastle, she was the daughter of the late James Benedict and Yvonne ''Bonnie'' (Matchett) Dalton.

She worked as a supply teacher and was also a writer for numerous newspapers.

She taught piano lessons and worked at two local call centres.

She was also a member of Saint Mary's Roman Catholic Church and a former member of the C.W.L. and Saint Mary's Choir.

She will be greatly missed by her two daughters Kim Trevors of Loggieville, and Rossi Nash (Sonny) of Maple Glen; three sisters Carol Ann Dinan (Bill) of Moncton, Corrine Silliker (Gary) of Mahone Bay, NS, and Kathy Phipps (Bob) of British Columbia; one brothers James Dalton Jr. (Joan) of Ontario; five grandchildren Monica Nash, Emily Nash, Holly Trevors, Kendra Petrie and Owen Petrie; one great grandson Michael Street; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother Gregory ''Greg'' John Dalton and infant sister Mary Margaret.

The family will receive relatives and friends from Northumberland Funeral Home, 102 Pleasant Street, Miramichi, NB, on Tuesday, March 5, 2019, from 7 to 9 pm.

The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, March 6, 2019, from Northumberland Funeral Home Chapel, 102 Pleasant Street, Miramichi, NB, at 2 pm, with Father Antonio Reyes officiating.
