Pearl Arleen Williston passed away on Monday, July 25, 2016, in Toronto, Ontario, following a brief illness. Mrs. Williston was a lifelong resident of Douglastown until she moved to Toronto three years ago.
She was predeceased in death by her husband Charles Williston in January 2003. She was also predeceased in death by siblings Jenny Trainer of Prince Edward Island, Albert Sharpe of Temperance Vale, and Rena McGroty of Miramichi. She is survived by siblings Armand Sharpe and Bernard Sharpe of Fredericton, and Anna Pratt of Squamish, British Columbia.
She leaves behind five sons; Robert of Las Vegas, Nevada, Richard of Burnaby, British Columbia,, Armand and Dale of Toronto, Ontario, and Arnold of Miramichi. She also leaves behind nine grandchildren and twenty-one great grandchildren.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday, July 27, 2016, from 7 to 9 pm at Highland Funeral Home & Cremation Centre – Scarborough Chapel, and on Saturday, July 30, 2016, from 2 to 4 pm, at Northumberland Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 31, 2016, at 2 pm, from Northumberland Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will take place in St Mark's Cemetery.
