Peter Leonard Jardine, of Barnettville, passed away on Saturday, February 6, 2021, at the age of 69.

Born in Barnettville, he was the son of the late David and Beatrice (Curtis) Jardine. He was a labourer, woodsman, and worked for the town of Riverview before his retirement. He enjoyed being outdoors, spending time with his family, and was a friend of Dr. Bob and Bill W.

He will be greatly missed by his wife Iris (Corney) of Blackville; his son Peter (Meghan Audet) of Blackville; two daughters Cody Marie and Emileigh of Blackville; two sisters Myrna McCully (Curtis) of Barnettville and Marie Burke (Roy) of St John; four brothers Lloyd Jardine of Blackville, Paul Jardine (Nancy), John (Pauline), and Lyle (Lori) all of Barnettville; three grandchildren Krysta, Ava Marie, and Curtis; a special nephew Toby Jardine (Fallon) of Gray Rapids; special niece Lisa Storey (Stephen) of Blackville; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his infant brother Marshall.

The family will receive relatives and friends from Northumberland Funeral Home, on Tuesday, February 9, 2021, from 4 to 8 pm. Please note; facial coverings and social distancing guidelines will be followed.
A private graveside service will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the New Brunswick Lung Association.
