It is with great sadness we announce the death of Ralph Joseph Nash on Wednesday October 3, 2018 at the Miramichi Regional Hospital at the age of 71.

Born May 8, 1947 in the White Rapids, NB the son of the late Carl and Marguerite (Colford) Nash.

Ralph is survived by his wife of 51 years Sharon (Henderson); three children William “Bill” Nash (Sonya) of St. John, NB, Cathy Robichaud (Paul) and Gerard Nash (Brenda) both of Miramichi, NB.

Besides his wife and children Ralph is survived by his 7 grandchildren Jess, Chelsea, Jerica, Veronica, Kyle, Tanner, Jeremy and 4 great grandchildren Kiara, Leeland, Jase and Catherine.

Also survived by his two brothers James Nash (Evelyn) and William Nash (Maizie); six sisters Veronica Duffy, Margaret “Peggy” Munn, Lois Brown (John), Sylvia Duthie (Gerald), Ann Burns (Mike) and Linda Dickson (Keith), along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, Ralph is predeceased by his three brothers John, Edmond, Carl; three sisters Joan, Helena and Bridget; and four brothers-in-law Willard Munn, Simon Duffy, Francis Furlong and Clarence Furlong.

The family will receive relatives and friends from Northumberland Funeral Home, on Thursday, October 4, 2018, from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, October 5, 2018, at 11 am, from Saint Bridget's Roman Catholic Church, Renous, with Father Dan Bastarache officiating.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the MS Society or to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
