Richard Barry

Richard Barry, of Millerton, passed away peacefully at Percy's Place, surrounded by his family, on Monday, December 11, 2023, at the age of 90.

Born in Miramichi, he was the son of the late Richard and Emma (Myers) Barry.

He will be greatly missed by his children Addie (Herbie Lingley) of C.I. Road, Pam of Chatham, Jack (Cheryl) of C.I. Road, Jamie (Angie) of British Columbia , Todd (Margaret) of Alberta, and Bev of Ross' Place; his brothers Jack (Lillian), Art (Suzanne), Joe (Donna), Ron (Paula), Terry (Mary Katherine), Greg (Susanne), and Brent (Lila); his three sisters Adele (Tom Wright), Judy (Bob MacKenzie), and Linda; many grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Norma (MacKinley) Barry; sons Kim, Jeff, and Chris; two infant sons; sisters Doris, Elizabeth, and Mary; and brothers Robert "Bob" and Thomas.

In keeping with his wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Interment will take place in Derby United Baptist Cemetery, at a later date.

The family would like to thank Dr. Gerard Losier and the wonderful staff at Percy's Place for the care and compassion provided to Richard.

As expressions of sympathy, donations made to Percy's Place would be appreciated by the family.
