It is with heavy hearts the family of Richard "Rick" Nolan announce his passing from his long hard fight with pancreatic cancer on Wednesday, June 5th, 2019.

Rick will be dearly missed by his fiancé Corrina Smith of Cranbrook, BC, his parents, Freda Silliker and the late Ernest Nolan, his late step father, Blaine Silliker, his sister Corrine Nolan of Miramichi, brothers Greg Nolan of Hanover, Ontario, and John Nolan (Terry) of Kitcherner, Ontario. Special nephew Jared Nolan of Fredericton, NB and special nieces Jordan, who was his goddaughter as well and Julie Nolan of Miramichi, NB.

He is survived by several aunts and uncles Pat Nolan of Miramichi, NB, Anna Guitard (Gus), Janice Dutcher (Eddy), Cathy Somers (Terry) all of South Esk, NB, Fern Hare (late Sandy) of Curventon,NB, Susan Sherrard (late Byron), Helen Gibbs (Brian), Betty Henderson (Randy), Art McAllister (Carol), Miklos Kazamer, Loretta, Theresa, Paul McAllister all of Miramichi, NB.

Rick was predeceased by his maternal grandparents Mary and Freeman McAllister and his paternal grandparents Anne and Daniel Nolan.

Rick was a bricklayer by trade in earlier years, until he pursued his love for trucking from Coast to Coast.

He loved fishing and was an avid football fan of Dallas Cowboys.

A graveside service will be held at the Saint Samuel's Roman Catholic Church Cemetery, Douglastown - Miramichi, NB, Tuesday June 11th, 2019, at 4:30 pm.

A special thank you to the Extra Mural and Oncology Nursing Staff, Dr. Losier, the Josie Foundation and the Miramichi Regional Hospital, and all of the family and friends who helped Rick through his long journey this last year.
