Ricky Matchett

Ricky Eugene Matchett, of Miramichi NB, passed away at Miramichi Regional Hospital, on July 25, 2024, at the age of 57.

Born in Toronto ON, he was the son of Carolyn and the late Wesley Matchett. 

He will be greatly missed by his mother Carolyn (Harding) Matchett; daughters Jenna Ross (Cory) of Moncton, NB, and Taylor Matchett (Vincent) of Halifax, NS; and sister Tracey Silliker (Jason) of Alberta. Grandchildren Sam and Charlie, and nephews Ben and Alex.

Ricky is predeceased by his father Wesley Matchett.

The family would like to thank the staff of 3 East at Miramichi Regional Hospital for the care and support provided to Ricky and the family.

In keeping with Ricky’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. There will be a private family burial taking place in Boom Road Presbyterian Cemetery.

As expression of sympathy, donations may be made to Extra-mural or to a memorial of one’s choice.
