Robert “Bob” Lee Walsh

It is with great sadness we announce the death of Robert Lee Walsh of Miramichi who passed away peacefully on April 26th 2023, at the Miramichi Regional Hospital at the age of 77.  He was surrounded by his loving family.

Bob is survived by his former long time wife Diane of Miramichi; one brother Fred (Eileen) Walsh of Moose Jaw, Sask; his five sons Stephen Walsh, Chris Walsh, Michael Walsh, Sean Power, and Todd Power.  As well as his grandchildren and nieces and nephews whom he adored.

Born in Chatham N.B, he was the son of the late Harold Walsh and Lillian Wilt.  Bob was predeceased by two sisters Joan and Hazel of Miramichi and two brothers Barry of Moose Jaw, Sask. and Harold of Miramichi.

Bob worked 30 plus years as a produce manager and after retirement was an active member of the Knights of Columbus.

His simplistic lifestyle, calm approach, and willingness to always give others a helping hand were some of the characteristics that could best describe him.  He loved his outdoor time whether just sitting and chatting, or fishing with his family.  He was an avid hockey fan and loved watching the Timberwolves play.  Until we meet again we love you Dad.

At the family's request there will be no visitation or funeral service. As a expression of sympathy a donation to the memorial of one's choice would be appreciated.
