The death of Robert Osborne Stewart of Miramichi occurred at the Miramichi Regional Hospital on March 13th, 2021.

Born on January 25th, 1955, he was the son of Bob Stewart and Mabel (Mullin) McGuire.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years Judy (Galliah) Stewart and together they raised a good family. They shared three children Richard (Ally), Jenny (Wayne), and Holly (Sean) along with being a loving and dedicated grandfather to his granddaughter Olivia.
He is also survived by his mother Mabel; two brothers, Lawrence (Toni), Danny; four sisters Debbie, April, Mary(Chris), and Donna; and many special nieces and nephews.

Robert's presence would light up a room. He was known to be a jokester and comical with a quick wit. He was known throughout the community to be kind-hearted and generous. He was a loving and hardworking man dedicated to his family. He was a Christian father and often talked about his faith to others.
He loved the woods and nature. Finding a wooded dirt road would be among some of his joys. He grew up working in the woods and around draft horses. It still remained to be a joy later in his life that he shared with his wife, children , and grandchild.
In a crowded room, Robert always stood out among the rest with a huge light and bright personality. He left an imprint of kindness with everyone he met.
He will be greatly missed by those who loved him. 
The family will receive relatives and friends from Northumberland Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 17, 2021, from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm.
He will be laid to rest at the Miramichi Cemetery later in the spring, with Pastor Chad Rozelle officiating.
