Rosemary Adrienne English

Rosemary Adrienne English, passed away peacefully at home, on December 24, 2023. She fought bravely and never complained in her year long battle with cancer.

Rose was born in Chatham, NB, on August 30, 1949, daughter of Adrian and Kathleen (McDonnell) English.

She loved children and was a teacher for over 30 years. Rose was an avid sports fan, played golf and faithfully followed many other sports especially the Expo's and the Blue Jays. Her other interests were cooking, reading, and spending hours researching her family tree.

Rose will be dearly missed by her sisters Maureen McGean and Lori English; brothers Paul (Jackie), and Ken (Patsy); sister-in-law Maureen English; and many nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother David English and brother-in-law Basil McGean.

The family wish to thank Extra Mural and the hospital staff for their excellent, compassionate care.

Visitation will take place at Northumberland Funeral Home, on Thursday, December 28, 2023, from 6 to 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, December 29, 2023, at 11 am, from St Patrick's Roman Catholic Church, with Father Anthony Dass Papu officiating.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to Extra Mural, or to Miramichi Hospice.
