Rosemary (Lindsay) Tucker, of White Rapids, passed away on Sunday, September 14, 2014, at the Dr Georges L. Dumont Hospital, in Moncton, at the age of 79.
Born in St Stephen, she was the daughter of the late Milton and Dorothy (McLaughlin) Lindsay. She was a homemaker and a member of the Sunny Corner and Millerton Senior Citizens Clubs, enjoyed quilting, especially with her group, and was a devoted member of St Bridget's Roman Catholic Church.
She will be sadly missed by her three daughters Irene Dowling, Sheila Tucker, and Dorothy Tucker all of St Stephen; four sons Milton (Joan) of White Rapids, Lee (Pauline) of Barnaby, Linus (Louise) of St Stephen, and John (Cheryl) of Doyle's Brook; a grandson Matthew who was like her own son; two sisters Jenny (Wayne), and Kitty, both of St Stephen; one brother Burton (Ruth) of St Stephen; 11 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Rosemary was predeceased by her husband Edward, grandson Charles Edward Dowling, two brothers Buddy and Ray, one sister Rita Colwell, and two sons-in-law Charles Dowling and Robert Anderson.
The family will receive relatives and friends from Father Murdock Memorial Room, in Renous, on Tuesday, September 16, 2014, from 7 to 9 pm and on Wednesday, September 17, 2014, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, September 18, 2014, at 11 am, from St Bridget's Roman Catholic Church, Renous, with Monseigneur Joseph Woods officiating.
As expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, or to a memorial of one's choice.
