Roy Samms, husband of Pamela Samms, of Eel Ground, passed away on Tuesday, May 10, 2016, at the age of 50.

Born in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, he was the son of the late Eleanor Samms and a chef by trade.

He will be sadly missed by his wife Pamela of Eel Ground First Nation; his stepdaughter Samantha Guimond of Moncton; stepchildren Mickie Power, Lily Guimond and Chevy Guimond.

Besides his mother, he was predeceased by his stepson Nickolas Breau.

The family will receive relatives and friends from Northumberland Funeral Home, on Thursday, May 12, 2016, from 6 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held on Friday, May 13, 2016, from Northumberland Funeral Home Chapel, at 2 pm, with Rev. Stephen Somers officiating.

As expression of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, or to the IWK, would be appreciated by the family.
