Sadie Coughlan, wife of the late Merlin Coughlan, of Blackville, passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2013, at the miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 90.

Born in Blissfield, she was the daughter of the late Donald and Irene (Gillespie) Cowie. She was a homemaker and a member of Wesleyan Church of Blissfield.

She will be sadly missed by her daughter Catherine (Vincent) of Lloydminster, AB; two sons Richard of Toronto, and Roy (Francis) of Blackville; 13 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by two sisters Mary Gilks and Annie Kervin, and two brothers George and Donald.

The family will receive relatives and friends from Wesleyan Church of Blissfield, on Sunday, March 17, 2013, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held from the church on Monday, March 18, 2013, at 2 pm, with Pastor David Sullivan officiating. Interment will take place in Saint Agnes Anglican Church Cemetery, in Gray Rapids, at a later date.

As expression of sympathy, donations may be made to a memorial of one's choice.
