Sheila (Nash) Duffy, wife of the late Aloisious Duffy, of Upper Derby, passed away on Wednesday, April 21, 2010, at the age of 56.
Born in Miramichi, she was the daughter of the late Gerard and Viola (Henderson) Nash. She was a homemaker and attended St Bridget’s Roman Catholic Church, in Renous.
Sheila is survived by her three sons; Tyson, at home, Allie (Ashley) of Moncton, and Wade of Calgary, Alberta; three sisters Henrietta (Norm Gray) of Loggieville, Elizabeth Grattan of Ottawa, Ont., and Gloria (Nicholas McGrath) of Beaverbrook; six brothers Howard (Odelle), Leonard (Linda), David (Rena), Sherman (Marilyn), Sheldon (Jackie) all of White Rapids, and Gerard (Sonny) Jr. (Rosie) of Newcastle; three grandchildren Alexis, Colby and Chase; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sister Dianna and her brother Glenn.
At the request of the family, there will be no visiation. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, April 26, 2010, at 11 am, from St Bridget’s R.C. Church with Monsignor Joseph Woods officiating. Interment will take place in the church cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada, or to a memorial of one’s choice.
