Spencer Glenn Curtis, of Miramichi, passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at the University of Alberta Hospital, in Edmonton, with his mom and sister by his side, at the age of 32.
Born in Brampton, ON, he was the son of Rebecca Gerrish and the late Allan Curtis.
He will be greatly missed by his mother Rebecca of Quarryville; his sister Riley Gerrish of Quarryville, who he loved and was his pride and joy; his sister Lezley Underhill of Red Bank; two brothers Daylen Underhill and Braxton Underhill both of Red Bank; his daughter Lexie Rose Burke of Baie-Ste-Anne; grandmother Anna Gerrish; uncle Michael Gerrish (Candiss) and sons of Killam, Alberta; special aunt Jackie Curtis; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Besides his father Allan Curtis, he was predeceased by his maternal grandfather Glenn Gerrish; paternal grandparents Norris and Germaine Curtis; and his great grandmothers Phyllis Moody and Bertha Gerrish.
The family will receive relatives and friends from Northumberland Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 21, 2022, from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2022, at 1 pm, at Miramichi Fellowship Center with Rev. John Stewart officiating.
Spencer was also an organ donor with HOPE and the family would like to acknowledge the Doctors and staff at the Sturgeon Community Hospital, in St Albert's, Alberta for their kindness and compassion.
